It gives you a little more information then you see on the show, which helps to fill in some things you don't get from the show.

I love Helena and really enjoy this series.
Enjoyed it. Love the show, basically the first few times we see Helena in the show but with a little backstory.
Cool to see her past that led her to be the way she is when we first meet her. Beth, Maggie & Helena encounter is slightly different than the show, but I almost like it better!
I love the new backstory we get from the comics! Love the tv series and can't wait to see what happens next! I look forward to more insights into the clones' earlier days and how they got to the point where we meet them on the tv series. It was great to see Helena before she was completely broken by her training. We see the dark, relentless nature of Tomas' training methods and how he molded Helena into the assassin his people wanted her to be.
It's not bad, but I was expecting and hoping for more background on the character, and not so much repeat of what was on the TV show.
